Stillness Evolution
in this breath
there is no tomorrow
no trapping of seconds,
minutes, hours, or days
in muscle tension
but a river of blood
from head to toe
oxygen flowing freely
no dam to obstruct
its natural rhythm
like rain to leaves
to trunk to roots
a tree growing blossoms
or losing leaves
breathing acceptance

How wonderful is'nt it the bodily wisdom..." in this breath ...there's no tommorow."
Thanks for the reminder to stop and just exist.... There is pure joy in that.
What a beautiful comment you have left for me.
There is so much peace and wisdom here. Thank you for reaching out to me so I could find you!
You and your little girl are so beautiful.

J, i am letting the body speak, and i am learning.
Aine, you are welcome. Those moments of pure joy are actually every moment if we choose to see it that way.
Jaime, thank you. i am always looking for that peace and wisdom, and am surpirised myself when i find it here.
As I read this, I felt myself relaxing, back on my pillow, breathing. "like rain to leaves / to trunk to roots" -- lovely.
